HAPPY HOLIDAYS

I haven't been very political of late. It is all I can do right now to
get my voice going every day of this very aggressive tour!!!
BUT.........

Everyone knows how I feel about this subject....... I encourage each of
you, if you haven't already, to read my commentaries I SAY MERRY
CHRISTMAS and THE BELL to get a clear understanding of my feelings.

I also love the fact that this IS a free and very diverse country, and
people can do or say what they want within reason. My mom used to have
a lit up, green neon sign [a bit hideous :) ] that said HAPPY HOLIDAYS
over the front door. Funny, that simple phrase used to kind of signify
an ALL inclusive greeting for Hanukkah, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and
New Year’s..... a true and wonderful HOLIDAY season.

That being said… there IS a definitive WAR on CHRISTMAS, and CHRISTIANS
in general, in this nation. Political correctness runs amok. HAPPY
HOLIDAYS has become an okay thing to say, INSTEAD of..........

I HATE every bit of THAT attitude when people are afraid to say the
word CHRISTMAS so as not to offend...... that includes corporations,
the press, and even the WHITE HOUSE. Oh well, enough ranting. It DOES
get worse every year, and someday a manger scene may be confiscated
right out of our houses, if we do not keep a vigil...... then I guess
our Bibles and crosses will go..........

Okay...... I am whacking out a little, but the sad thing is.......
there does exist an element of people in this land who would love to
see this kind of stuff happen!!!

So........ MERRY CHRISTmas..... Let's go sing!!!
