There is something happening in this United States of America that many Democratic politicians are not paying attention to, and I believe it will be their undoing on November 2nd!

In last night’s town hall debate you saw one small example when a pretty, young, blond girl tearfully asked John Kerry a question about abortion. Yes, abortion, along with embryonic stem cell research, is a hot topic that cannot be glossed over with standard Dem rhetoric. That young girl, whose heart was right there on her sleeve, is representative of an undercurrent of spiritual revolution quietly spreading across America. And the Left Wing party is oblivious to it!

When John Kerry said last week that, ‘This President will not allow embryonic stem cell research, because of some extreme Right Wing ideology,’ he could NOT have been more wrong!

This so called “extremism” is not that extreme at all. For a long time, the Liberals in this nation have tried to erase God out of our lives and diminish the meaning of life. And it would seem to me, that the more they try, the more people search for true meaning as to why we are here in the first place. And the coin toss keeps coming up In God We Trust every time.

OK.….. I will admit this undercurrent is not a hooting and hollering tent meeting revival. But I CAN tell you that since September 11th of 2001, the majority of people in this nation are seeking God in their own way. And that is why George W. Bush, a leader who is not afraid to admit that he is a humble man of faith, WILL win this election!

These facts do NOT show up in the polls and are not discussed by the talking head pundits on the news shows. But have you noticed that churches of ALL denominations are FULL on SUNDAY? Did the success of the movie The Passion strike a chord? How about the amazing growth of Gospel music in every form? More people are buying Gospel CD’s than ever before. Southern Style Gospel, Contemporary Gospel, Black Gospel, Country and Bluegrass Gospel.

In fact, one of the biggest Country hits of the year was The Long Black Train. And in the Pop music world, it was the song, I Can Only Imagine, which broke through every barrier and was played on every radio format for almost a year! The straight-ahead GOSPEL message right there in the MAINSTREAM!

On television, Touched By An Angel was a huge success, while the network tried to cancel it for years. They finally succeeded, only to be shocked by a surprise hit show about a young girl’s relationship with God, in Joan Of Arcadia. By the way, viewership of televised evangelistic shows is also up, up, up.

Books? I could just mention the Left Behind series and leave it at that. However, the Christian Bible and Catholic Book stores have also seen a general increase in business. And purchases of new BIBLES are through the roof.

My point is made. People are searching for God in their lives, and they are finding that HE is there for them, with spiritual answers to the questions of life and death, right and wrong, happiness and sadness, good and bad! There is no gray area with Jesus Christ in your life.

We live in a mean world, and we have very real enemies out there, who dwell on the dark side where we really do not want to go. We need comfort and assurance after terrorists fly a jet into a building, or cut off a neighbor’s head, live and on the big screen. We need love in the midst of all this hate. We seek leadership, instead of empty rhetoric and bad ideas, when our sons and daughters are in a sandstorm a million miles away, fighting for our freedom and protection.

We need resolve and, yes, we need to fight with every fiber of our being against the demons, who would seek to destroy us. We can NOT put our heads in the sand and ignore what is going on. But we do need help!

What America is learning, day by day, is that we really need the positive force of God in our daily lives, and a vast majority of folks are coming to that realization. At the same time, it would seem that many loudmouths, who have no idea about what the answers are, are eroding our values. They are on a constant mission to polarize and confuse the populace with their meanderings about what we should believe is right for us.….. and they are WRONG!

Only God through His son Jesus Christ is the answer. In this life and in the next one.

There are tough roads ahead, but I say bring them on. “I can do ALL things through CHRIST, who strengthens me!”

Keep seeking HIS will in your life, and AMERICA will be just fine! Thankfully, many of our friends and neighbors are doing just that!

If the Left Wing Liberals keep ignoring this undercurrent of faith.….. they will drown in it come November 2nd!
